Dunmail House is traditionally built from local stone on the northern edge of the village, it is ideally situated for a wide variety of walks to suit all abilities. The garden is a particular feature of the house with magnificent views and our guests are encouraged to enjoy its beauty with us. Luxury en-suite rooms all with views of the surrounding fells. We have tried to think of everything you might need, Egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy towels, quality toiletries, flat screen tv, dvd, hairdryer, hot Drinks tray and free wi- fi access. Five star service & personal attention to detail in a warm and friendly atmosphere combined with Breakfasts to set you up for the day make Dunmail House an ideal choice for a relaxing holiday. Grasmere village is to the north of Grasmere Lake and is easily accessible from Ambleside to the south and Keswick to the north, both of which area only 20 minutes away by car on the A591. The village is well served by the local bus company and the frequent service from Windermere (nearest railway station) to Keswick passes Dunmail House. Ample car parking is available for guests' cars. We accept payment by cheque,
cash, sterling travellers cheques and most Packed lunches are also available if ordered the previous evening. |
